Charles H. Allenberg is a 1988 graduate of Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), where he received a Bachelor of Science in Administration of Justice, with Distinction, and minored in Labor and Industrial Relation; and is a 1991 graduate of Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William and Mary where he received his Juris Doctor.  Following graduation, he joined the law firm of Neil C. Bonney & Associates, P.C., and subsequently became a partner in the firm which is now Bonney & Allenberg, P.C.  Since 1991, he has actively practiced law in the fields of labor, constitutional and employment law.

Mr. Allenberg is duly licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  He regularly practices before administrative bodies such as the Merit Systems Protection Board in the Philadelphia, Dallas, St. Louis, Atlanta, Washington, Denver, New York and San Francisco regions and before the EEOC in similar jurisdictions, municipal and federal grievance proceedings, and State and Federal Courts at the trial and appellate level.  Mr. Allenberg is extremely experienced in federal employment law and has in the past been retained by various unions.  He has represented numerous employees before the MSPB and the EEOC and due to his vast experience in federal employment matters is often consulted by other attorneys regarding labor law issues.  Many of Mr. Allenberg’s cases are reported in the Merit Systems Protection Board Reporter.
